A BIT ABOUT ME
Below is a little bit of me, If you want the structured, professional version, click ‘Review Resume'.
Roots
I grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, surrounded by plants at home. My dad tended the garden with care, and my sister and he would bond over collecting flowers to plant at home. I couldn’t resist joining in. Those early moments sparked my lifelong fascination with green spaces, planting the foundation for my path into design.
Seedling
My bachelor’s in architecture took me to Gondar, where I balanced my curiosity for creativity with practical studies. Even then, I found myself naturally drawn to projects involving gardens, parks, and outdoor spaces turning my childhood curiosity into real early explorations in design.
Growing ideas
After graduation, I started hands-on work in landscaping and eventually moved to Italy for my master’s. I’ve led over fifteen projects and love transforming ideas into outdoor spaces that evolve over time. I’m constantly exploring new avenues, from softscaping to park conservation, always looking for ways to grow my skills and perspective.
Blooming spaces
Landscaping won me over more than architecture because buildings feel fixed, while outdoor spaces change and grow. I love creating environments that evolve with people and plants alike, spaces where creativity, curiosity, and nature can flourish together. It’s where my personal passions and professional goals intersect. Where my creativity and curiosity feel at home.
